Conan Exiles Age of War Chapter 2 is Coming September 21st

Age of War Chapter 2 for Conan Exiles will be arriving on September 21st. This will expand on everything added in  chapter 1, along with efforts to improve loot across the game, a new Stygian building set available in the Bazaar, and of course a brand new Battle Pass.

This is chapter 2 of a planned three chapter Age, and two of the  promised features this time are a purge update, and improved loot.  As far as loot improvements, some of the changes to look out for include chests granting more useful loot and even NPCs dropping their own worn equipment. The loot chests will give out some contextually-related loot. So if you’re in a Darfari camp, expect some Darfari-related loot. It’s a nice bit of extra immersion.

Dungeons also get some of this rework, with loot having been tweaked to be more interesting and useful. There are also some more optional bosses and other changes. 

The Purge rework is definitely a huge part of the patch.  you'll have to trigger them manually through the Proclaim wealth button in a new Coffer interface. This new interface has multiple purposes. you can use this to sell treasures in your Coffer for gold. If you initiate a purge a Stygian Forward Operating base will spawn nearby and the waves of enemies will begin to pour out to assault your base. (Of course they're also looking out to steal your treasure. So every time you trigger a purge, you’re placing a bet)

Since you have to manually trigger a purge, you'll have to make sure that there's a path from outside your base all the way to the Coffer so the enemies can get there.

Your thralls can actually guard your doors, so you can assign them to help you out during purges. Purges will actually scale in difficulty to the amount of treasure that you
