There are a lot of games coming out in October, and one that's in danger of flying way under the radar is Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. This arcade racing sequel looks like a big improvement on the original, which was already a good time, so we're excited to see how it handles next month.
This new gameplay trailer at least gives us an idea of what to expect. Essentially, you're getting the same drift-happy, physics-driven, toy car racing fun, only with added layers like side-shunting and jumps. The video focuses on the title's various modes, which include new modes Elimination, Drift Master, Waypoint, Clash Derby, and Grab the Gears, in which you must collect gears and bank them to net points. Returning modes include a big single player story mode and a track builder.

The first game was great fun but I thought it wasn’t well looked after once you’d finished it so these modes might help, extra trophies would too of course. Still day one on the next instalment whatever happens.
I think they would be better off delaying it until Nov/Dec to give it a better chance. It’s just gonna get buried otherwise.
