There have been rumors circulating for a remaster of Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games’ 2010 open-world action-adventure. The original game was rated in South Korea recently. Then its Social Club Trophies were updated. Now, it seems that the official site has seen an update.
Insider Tez2 revealed on Twitter that a new reference is reportedly present in the publisher’s games list. It’s Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver) with the codename RDR1RSP. There’s even a new logo with a registered trademark symbol (or ®), compared to the trademark symbol (™) present on Xbox 360 and PS3 box art when it was first released.
It may seem like nothing, but it’s another clue on a growing mountain of evidence that a remaster will be announced. Rumors indicate it’s being announced at August, so it could be at Gamescom. As always, take things with a grain of salt and stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
