Apple's iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro launch is less than a month away and details related to the flagship models keep pouring in. Apple is yet to send out press invites for its special event but we have previously heard that the announcement could take place in the first half of September. It was initially coined by Mark Gurman that Apple could host its event on September 12 or 13. The analyst later pointed to a September 12 launch ahead of Apple's official statement. Now, another leaker corroborates earlier rumors of the event.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models are slated to be major upgrades from the iPhone 14 series considering the number of features the devices will bring to the table at launch. While the standard models have featured minimal changes in the past few years, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are slated to come with Dynamic Island in the display, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro models. Additionally, the slightly cheaper models are also expected to house a new USB-C port which could offer enhancements in data transmission and charging speeds.
According to leaker Majin Bu on X (formerly known as X), Apple will launch the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models on September 12. While the dates have previously surfaced, the leaker is not entirely sure. What this means is that the company could see fit to announce the iPhone 15 series earlier or later. The company will potentially send out press invites next week or the one after, which will confirm the iPhone 15 launch date.
According to what was reported by a source who asked me to remain anonymous, the Apple event will be held on September 12th. I can't be 100% sure of this information, but here are the screenshots.
