Seele is leaving Honkai: Star Rail soon, making way for a new 5-star character to dominate the sales charts. After a successful launch, Honkai: Star Rail is preparing to release its second 5-star character, Jing Yuan, one of the seven Arbiter Generals of the Cloud Knights with a sick lion by his side. This character will also be joined by a 4-star rate-up for characters Sushang, March 7th, and Tingyun, making it more likely you’ll summon them while pulling for Jing Yuan.
Jing Yuan is a 5-star Electric Erudition character in Honkai: Star Rail, meaning he specializes in dealing heavy AoE damage for those pesky mobs. Jing Yuan can summon a “Lightning-Lord” at the beginning of every battle, which will periodically attack enemies and count as follow-up damage. Lightning-Lord helps ensure that Jing Yuan can deal damage across all types of enemies, and not just mobs who are susceptible to AoE damage. You can also pull for Jing Yuan’s weapon in the Weapon Event Warp banner, Before Dawn.

When you roll a 4-star while pulling for Jing Yuan, there’s a high chance you’ll obtain one of the three mentioned characters. Sushang is a Physical Hunt character and one of the better choices for Physical DPS. March 7th is the premier free shielder of the game, able to generate many shields and perform some follow-up attacks. Finally, Tingyun is a strong buffer used on many of the meta teams.
Jing Yuan’s Character Event Warp banner will release on May 17, which will also be the end of Seele’s banner. If you haven’t pulled for Seele already, this
