Honkai: Star Rail, the turnbased RPG from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse, has been out about a month on PC and smartphones – but there’s still been no word on when the release will be available for PS5 and PS4. However, later this week, on 26th May, the game will get its inaugural Galactic Roaming livestream.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the developer or its approach to Genshin Impact, it hosts broadcasts every six weeks or so to reveal the contents of the next major update. In this case, the livestream will include everything you need to know about Honkai: Star Rail’s first major post-release refresh, which will presumably feature new banners, events, and content.
With the update due out around 6th June, many are hoping for more information on the previously announced PS5 and PS4 versions. It’s unlikely HoYoverse will release the ports outside of a big update, so if there’s no news during this latest livestream, we’ll likely have to wait until v1.2 later in the year.
