As reported on data.ai, Immortal is still the 24th largest mobile game globally, reaching this $500 million mark just 11 months since its launch in June 2022, slower than record holders Pokemon GO or Genshin Impact, but ahead of the still very successful Call of Duty: Mobile.
Without factoring the PC port or third-party app stores, China makes up the largest percentage of lifetime spending at ~37%, although the U.S. playerbase is not far behind at ~24% of the total.
Interestingly, however, U.S. interest in the title actually overtook China in 2023 — increasing to 33% of spending compared to China's 19%.
The Ancients’ Cradle will be the site of Immortal's next Main Questline content update coming later this month. Despite criticism, Diablo Immortal launched to astounding success, boasting over 10 million installs and an estimated $24 million in mobile app store revenue within the first two weeks.
