God of War Ragnarok Costed $200m to Make; Almost 5x the Amount of God of War III

Of the games out on the console, God of War Ragnarok stands above many of them as a blockbuster hit for PS5, and its success can be attributed to its marketing and post-launch support. Earlier today, though, it was revealed how much the game cost Sony. The amount of money invested in this game might surprise some of our avid readers.

In a report made by The Guardian, Shuhei Yoshida was interviewed, and it included various quotes about his experiences within the industry, including working on 2012’s Journey to the projects of today.
