Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake on Steam just got an update that removes a huge feature. For some reason, players are booting up the remade classics to find that ray tracing has completely disappeared as a graphics option, even for those with powerful enough setups to handle it.
Confused Resident Evil fans are flocking to Reddit and Steam community posts for answers, but it seems that there's none to be had. No one knows why RTX has disappeared from the games that were handling it just fine a matter of days ago, and there's no word on when it will be back.

Posts about the removal of ray tracing in both Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake began circulating yesterday. At the time of writing, it doesn't seem that the option has returned to either game, and we can't find a statement from Capcom on the matter either. Given that it's now the weekend, we might not get answers until Monday too.
