Earlier today, Capcom held a digital event to update fans on the planned roadmap for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The event confirmed that Title Update 5 is happening this week, with new beasts entering the fray. However, fans may be surprised to learn that this update is not going to be the game’s last. There is more Monster Hunting waiting to be had this summer.
To announce the upcoming Title Update 5, Capcom released a three-minute trailer (thanks Resetera) showing off the additional monsters being introduced to the game. The first two minutes of the trailer focus on the dragon-like beasts Amatsu and Risen Shagaru Magala, who are making their way to the title. Then, the final minute of the trailer is reserved for a special announcement - in June, the last additional monster is coming to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak via a bonus update.

This monster was introduced in Sunbreak, so it would make sense to close out with a familiar face.
Surely more information is on its way in the months leading up to June. Until then, we will have to occupy ourselves with speculating wildly on what this final monster will be. Not to mention we can entertain ourselves with this week’s Title Update 5. Beyond Risen Shagaru Magala and Amatsu, the update plans to increase the Anomaly Investigations level cap and add two Risen Elder Dragons to Anomaly Research
