The console version of Company of Heroes 3 is due out on May 30 and today, the latest developer’s diary showcases what went in to making the game work on controllers. The game will release on current generation consoles only as it will adapt the RTS controls for controller use.

The scheme was built from the bottom up to offer an intuitive UI for players to issue commands immediately. This will change the way the game is played with the Command Wheel and Full Tactical Pause.

This allows players a moment to breathe, strategize and command orders. Relic is confident the controls will be easy for console players to control the battlefield.
