NeverAwake Begins Haunting Xboxes on June 29 - Hardcore Gamer
Neotro Inc’s nightmarish SHUMP, NeverAwake, will at last be seeing release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on June 29. The release will come with all additions made up to this point, include the recent 1.1 Content Update. Said update adds a new “Speedrun Mode,” the “Hitmitsu Challenge” and five new weapons including crossovers from other shooters like the “Emerald Vajra” from Vritra Hexa.
Those Xbox fans who decide to take on NeverAwake will find themselves blasting their way through the horrific renditions of a young girl’s subconscious fears. There’s quite a lot of fear and insecurities to work through too; players will have to take down warped versions of dentists, dogs, vegetables and other issues across eighty stages. They’ll have a wide range of weapons, attack patterns, specials and movement options at their disposal to help them defeat it all though, so hopefully it’ll feel like a worthwhile journey in the end. NeverAwake releases for Xbox on June 29 and is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation and Switch.
