The Lord of the Rings: Gollum launched on May 25, and its release was not what developer Daedalic Entertainment wanted to see. The game received very bad review scores, and many people have pointed out the game's numerous glitches and other oddities. In a statement, Daedalic apologized for the «underwhelming experience» people have reported.
«We acknowledge and deeply regret that the game did not meet the expectations we set for ourselves or for our dedicated community,» the developer said. «Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment this may have caused.»
