Noah Rosenfield is at it again with a new mobile app brain game. Addagrams came to mobile app stores globally on the 25th of May, and already holds nearly 5-star ratings. And download numbers continue to climb. The game and its developer 1TON, provides players with one rule: blaze your own trail. So many puzzle games allowing only a single solution, but Addagrams adds both a layer of personalization and complexity. Addagram gives players the task of making two words from a jumble of presented letters. But those letters are limited. Luckily players earn more letters to use as they complete puzzles. With that in mind, players have a variety of “modes” they can play to earn those letters and achieve victory.
The number 99 represents a “perfect score” within Addagrams, and whispers of a special “99 Club” should entice players to keep climbing the points ladder. Players can show off their skills with daily challenge puzzles and getting their names on the leaderboards. And with a feature to personalize game avatars, players are promised the ability to put their own personal flare on all their leaderboard achievements. Addagram also features a leveling system that tracks players’ progress and presents challenges to match. Although making the promise to “boost brains and moods” might be a bit early to confirm, we can confirm that this game – and all 1TON games that might follow – is one to watch. Addagram sports a “Free to play” with in-game purchases.
