Season 6 of Call of Duty Mobile has been revealed by Activision, and the big update will include the new Arena multiplayer mode, another Ground War map, Call of Duty's popular Grau 5.56 assault rifle, and more.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 6: Templar's Oath arrives on July 5 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. The season includes a brand-new battle pass with 50 tiers of free and premium items, including new operator skins, weapon blueprints, and more.
A highlight of the Season 6 battle pass is the addition of the Grau 5.56 assault rifle, which was a very popular weapon in Modern Warfare 2019 and Warzone 1. The Grau 5.56 can be unlocked for free at tier 21 of the pass. Another free unlock is the Survival Training multiplayer perk at tier 14, and this new perk will provide immunity to the negative effects of one piece of enemy tactical equipment every 30 seconds.
The premium tiers of the pass feature operator skins for Bulldozer, Samael, Wraith, and Alice. New premium weapon blueprints in the pass include variants for the GKS, Hades, L-CAR 9, the Grua 5.56, and more.
On the multiplayer side, Season 6: Templar's Oath brings the all-new Arena mode, which deploys three teams of four to compete in round-based combat. Players can explore the map before the match begins to purchase items to take into the first round, and additional items can be earned for later rounds by completing in-game objectives. Within the rounds, a circle collapse will push players closer and closer together, which sounds like a mini-round-based battle royale. There are no respawns in this mode, and eliminated players are out until the next round. The first team to win two rounds wins the match.
Season 5 added the standard version of the Armada Strike map from Black Ops
