SEGA and Yakuza Like a Dragon developer RGG Studio have announced that it'll be hosting a presentation next month, on the 15th June. Adding to what is already an incredibly busy period for the industry — thanks to Summer Game Fest and a stacked release schedule — the 'RGG Summit' will no doubt give us a look at upcoming titles Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and, potentially, Like a Dragon 8.
Gaiden is still penned in for a 2023 launch, so a confirmed release date alongside a gameplay deep dive seems likely. Meanwhile, Like a Dragon 8 has received but a tiny teaser up until this point, so more information might be on the cards.
The only problem — at least for us here in the UK and the rest of Europe — is that the showcase will begin at 12 PM JST, which equates to 4 AM UK time and 5 AM central European time (technically a day later, on the 16th June). It's at a more reasonable 11 PM Eastern and 8 PM Pacific in the US.
Still, it should be a good show, and just for you, we do plan on staying up to cover it.
