Blizzard has announced that it will be celebrating the launch of Diablo 4 through a race. Players can compete in the race by reaching level 100 on a character in hardcore mode and tweeting at the company with evidence and the hashtag #Diablo4Hardcore.
The first 1,000 players to complete the race will be celebrated by the company by having their usernames be shown off on a statue of Lilith. It is also worth noting that those who played the pre-release version of the game for the purposes of reviews throughout the month of May 2023 will not be eligible for entry into the race.
Sicne submissions for the race begin on June 1, it is also worth noting that to even take part in the race, players will need to own the $89.99-priced Digital Deluxe version of the game at minimum, which gives them early access to Diablo 4 ahead of the title’s June 6 release date.
Diablo 4 recently kicked off pre-loads for all players who had pre-ordered the game on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. While players who pre-ordered the standard edition of the game will have to wait until June 6 to get their hands on the action RPG, those who picked up the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions will get to play as early as tomorrow.
