After some additional server downtime, Destiny 2’s latest update is now live. It brings several buffs to weapon archetypes like Auto Rifles, Handcannons, Sniper Rifles, Pulse Rifles and much more. There’s also a new connection-based matchmaking playlist for Crucible, which includes 6v6 modes like Zone Control, Clash, Rift and Control.
Those who enjoyed Rift but didn’t like dropping the Spark when using Strand’s Grapple will no longer face the same issues. However, you can no longer dunk the Spark when grappling or moving faster than 15 meters per second. Other changes include Tormentors providing Revive Tokens in some activities and some tuning to the Heist Battlegrounds in Vanguard and Nightfall playlists.
Titans will also be happy to hear that the Peacekeepers’ reload perk should work properly now and that Phoenix Cradle will extend the Sol Invictus buff when using Burning Maul. Players can also give Commendations for Best Dressed, though it only applies to random players and not clan mates.
