Featured Games Revealed For 2023 Tribeca Festival - Hardcore Gamer
The Tribeca Festival returns again this June in New York, and for the third year in a row, an official Tribeca Games lineup will be featured at the event as part of the 2023 Tribeca Games & Immersive Experience, showcasing a variety of unique games with demos to try out while competing for the Tribeca Games Award. The winner will get to join previous champions NORCO and Thirsty Suitors, although given previous featured games as well, it’s an honor just to be selected. That last one may seem like the odd one out, but it makes a bit more sense when you learn that the festival will also play host to the panel “Exploring Deep Space: How Telltale and Deck Nine created Expanse Stories in an Interactive Medium” that will provide a deep discussion about the game. And if that wasn’t enough, Glen Milner’s documentary “Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds” will have a special screening, followed by a Q&A with Kojima himself. The Tribeca Festival takes place from June 7 to 18, and you can purchase tickets to it at the official site. Though if you can’t attend in person, a Tribeca Games Spotlight will also showcase the games over at Tribeca’s YouTube channel on June 9 at 3 PM EST, allowing you to take a look at these promising titles in one way or another.
