Learn About Tarot Card Creation With The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood's New Trailer - Hardcore Gamer
As mentioned in our preview last month, Deconstructeam have another potential gem of a narrative adventure on their hands with The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, with its unique hook of being able to craft your own tarot cards being insanely fun on its own. Such an engaging mechanic needs to be properly shown off, though, and there’s where the new trailer for the game comes in, showing off the card creation process. And as seen below, it’s hosted by none other than Ábramar, the massive and imposing cosmic being that out exiled witch protagonist Fortuna makes a deal with. Isn’t that nice of him!
As detailed in the video, the three main details when it comes to tarot card creation are selecting the sphere (the location and backdrop), then the arcana (the central figure and/or figures), and finally a set of energy symbols (miscellaneous elements). Then you place them all together, move them around, scale them, duplicate them, whatever you want. The combination and placement you create then determines the card’s name, legend, and meanings. There’s a bit more to it – such as the energy costs for each part – but Ábramar will likely give us a crash course about that part sometime later as well (along with how to do a proper reading), likely before The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood comes out later this year for PC and Switch, so stay tuned.
