Chinese indie game developer Fabled Game Studio, the studio behind the roguelike card game Pirates Outlaws, has revealed their next upcoming title for Android ad iOS, Spiritle.
Up to four players can enjoy this digital board game, which incorporates turn-based strategy mechanics for dynamic and cooperative gameplay. Spiritle is scheduled to launch on Android and iOS later this summer.
In Spiritle, players will assume the role of a Spirit. These Spirits represent one of the four elements: Nature, Earth, Water, or Fire. Each Spirit possesses their own unique abilities, opening up many strategies and techniques for getting the greatest edge in battle.
The goal is to engage other players in battle in order to regain positions within the World Tree, initiating battle by pairing two identical lands.
By selecting the best skills and abilities to outsmart and outplay opponents, teams of players can gain the upper hand and seize victory!
Spiritle presents a challenging learning curve despite its simplicity, and mastery will come to those who develop the best strategies to maximize their advantages and minimize their disadvantages to become a master.
There are various ways to engage and challenge opponents in Spiritle, and various modes to present diverse gameplay options. Classic Battle is a competitive matchmaking mode. It features a leaderboard for tracking progress. The seasonal Cooperative mode is for those who want a chaotic yet fun 2v2 experience against other players. Finally, Custom mode allows for private play between friends.
There is also a special mode that manifests within The World Tree. Since The World Tried is intrinsically connected to the seasons, it manifests as the Tree of Brutality during the Earth Season.
