Ever since CD Projekt Red said that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty would be its biggest ever expansion — in terms of developer resources, not scale — we've been wondering how much it's going to cost.
Historically, the Polish company has placed enticingly low price points on its DLC offerings. The Witcher 3's two expansions, for example, were priced at just £8 / $10 and £12 / $15, respectively. You could also grab both together as part of an Expansion Pass for £20 / $24. Undeniably amazing value all round.
Anyway, Phantom Liberty's going to be a bit more expensive. The expansion is now up for pre-order on the PlayStation Store, and it's tagged at £24.99 / $29.99 ahead of its release on the 26th September. Just to be crystal clear, you'll need to own Cyberpunk 2077 in order to play Phantom Liberty.
Honestly, it's about what we expected, given that this will be the only expansion Cyberpunk 2077 gets. We'd like to think that CDPR has poured a lot of effort into this one.

Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
