The sci-fi world of Dune is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator later this year, just in time for the premiere of Dune Part 2.
Revealed during Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase, a trailer accompanied by composer Hans Zimmer's Oscar-winning Dune score shows players will be able to take to the skies of Dune's titular desert planet, Arrakis, in one of the franchise's iconic ornithopter vehicles. It looks like players will be able to scout spice mining operations judging from a brief glimpse of a spice harvester out in the deep desert. Wherever there is spice, there are also bout to be massive sand worms, though we don't get a glimpse of one in this particular trailer.
