Elden Ring PC players behold - the 'Convergence Team' has released its Elden Ring Convergence mod which significantly overhauls the game's areas, maps improves its visuals, and adds new spells, enemies, weapons, and much more.
We already reported on this highly-ambitious overhaul mod for FromSoftware's hit title last year. This mod has now arrived alongside an extensive document containing all the changes and improvements that this mod offers. "Experience Elden Ring in a new light with hundreds of new spells, plenty of weapons, new gear, bosses, and much more", the team behind the mod writes on Twitter.
As said, the list of changes that the team has made is substantial and includes changes to game systems (for instance, this mod allows fast-travel during combat and within dungeons), progression, classes, bosses, the game's maps, areas, weapons (including new weapons and changes to movesets of weapons), skill changes, staff and seal changes, armor changes, adjustments to spells alongside roughly 360 new spells, and plenty of other interesting changes.
It should be noted that this is a public alpha release of the mod, and there will still be plenty of things that will be improved in the final public release.
PC players that are into modding Elden Ring can download this alpha release via Nexusmods here. The mod weighs in at 2.8GB, but there's also a program available that automatically downloads and installs The Elden Ring Convergence mod.
