Prime Video is one of the best places to stream TV shows or catch up on old movies, especially since it comes bundled with your regular Prime subscription. However, the service also offers a library of films that are still in theaters. In fact, you’ll find movies like Scream 6 and Avatar: The Way of Water available to rent or purchase--making it easy to catch the latest hits without leaving the comfort of your home theater.
Scream 6 is one of the newest movies on the service, although if you have Paramount+, you can watch it for free as part of your service. Otherwise, consider picking up an UHD copy from Amazon for $20 and permanently adding it to your collection. And though Avatar: The Way of Water released in December, it's actually still available in theaters across the country. It's not available on any streaming service yet, so you'll have to rent or buy it to watch it at home.
Other notable arrives on Amazon’s In-Theater At Home service include 65 (starring Adam Driver), A Man Called Otto (starring Tom Hanks), and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
Almost all of these movies are available to purchase, while some are also available to rent. If you do rent a movie, Amazon gives you 30 days to start watching and 48 hours to finish once you’ve started. So if you don’t wrap up the movie in one sitting, be sure to get back before your time expires.
You’ll find a list of all new releases on Amazon’s Home Premiere service below.
