Destiny 2 received its big mid-season update on Tuesday, which brought some big changes to the game's sandbox. Several primary weapons got huge buffs in Destiny's PvE content, including Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, Sidearms, and Scout Rifles, while Trace Rifles, Rapid-Fire Fusion Rifles, and Rapid-Fire Snipers all got buffs in both PvE and PvP. The patch added the new Best Dressed commendation and fixed a whole lot of bugs, too.
It also added a whole bunch of bugs as well. A laundry list of issues cropped up not even 24 hours after the patch went live, with everything from Raid Banners flat-out not working to the Kings Fall raid causing crashes and disconnects.

However, it turns out some of the bugs added in Tuesday's patch are actually features. Yesterday, Bungie added an "addendum" to the patch notes that detailed significant changes that were overlooked. Destiny 2's new Strand subclasses were hit with nerfs mostly in the form of changes to armor mod interactions. Ashes to Assets and Hands-On no longer stack to provide double super energy when getting grapple melee kills. Ditto Firepower and Heavy Handed, which no longer provide double Orbs of Power from melee kills either. Grenade Kickstart no longer activates from using grapple points, and super gains from Ashes to Assets alone have been reduced by 50 percent when killing with a grapple melee using a grapple point.
It's clear that Bungie put these amended patch notes up quickly. Ashes to Assets is mislabeled as "Ashes to Ashes" in the first point, while the Harsh Language Grenade Launcher is incorrectly labeled a Shotgun. And over on Twitter, Bungie listed 12 points they
