The next installment in the delightfully ultra-violent fighting game series is called Mortal Kombat 1. It’s slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 19, 2023. It features “reimagined versions” of the characters from previous installments, a new fighting system, new game modes, and more. It’s available to preorder now in three different versions, including a Kollector’s Edition, which is Kombat-speak for collector's edition. Preorder any version of the game, and you’ll get access to the playable character Shang Tsung.
