There’s been little to no time to pause and take a breath in 2023 thus far, what with the constant string of exciting new releases, and that it’s stopping anytime soon. June, for instance, is looking like the year’s most packed month with a number of major new games, including, of course, Diablo 4, which is ready to launch off the back of years of fervent anticipation.
Ahead of its release, Blizzard Entertainment released a gameplay launch trailer for the action RPG last week, and has now followed up on it with a counterpart that focuses on its story. Set in the world of Sanctuary about 30 years after the events of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, Diablo 4 will see Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto, returning from a long exile after being summoned by her cultists amidst the ever-raging war between the forces of light and darkness. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the havoc she will wreak.
Diablo 4 is due out on June 6 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS5, and PC.
