Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that F1 23, its upcoming and hotly anticipated Formula One racer, will not receive support for PSVR2. This news is somewhat disappointing in light of the successful implementation of VR in Gran Turismo 7, which PlayStation fans reliably continue to show up for.
In a response provided to MIXED News, EA revealed that F1 23 would not be getting a PSVR2 port, although a PC VR version is slated to launch on 16th June 2023. The standard version of the game will launch on both PS5 and PS4 several days earlier, on 13th June.

Driving the Super Formula cars in GT7 is just way more fun, anyway. The F1 games are more realistic, but with that comes stiff cars that are harder to turn. Still, would have been nice to have another sim option in VR on PlayStation.
I would not have bought it if it were on PSVR2. I could do another 100 hours of GT7 w/ the headset easy. It's honestly made it tough to get into my other PSVR2 purchases
As many said in the other articles, no PSVR2 means I’ll be skipping this year. Hopefully it makes 2024.
