Nintendo and Game Freak have rolled out Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet update 1.3.0, which addresses some annoying issues.
The update is available now on Nintendo Switch and should download automatically to the platform if the game is installed on the system (and enabled in the settings). As said, this new update packs plenty of fixes for various issues, including an annoying one that prevented players from catching an egg instead of Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in a Tera Raid battle prior to the 1.2.0 update. Also, this update packs changes for the deadline for entries for Friendly Competitions, and plenty of other fixes in battles, link battles, and more. One of these fixes is for trainers who received Hisuian Zoroark from the Mystery Gift screen.
"Fixed a bug affecting Trainers who received Hisuian Zoroark from the Mystery Gift screen as a special early-purchase bonus for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet without first having seen Zoroark in their game", the official patch notes from Nintendo read. "This bug caused Zoroark to be incorrectly displayed as registered in these Trainers’ Pokédexes."
We suggest reading the full patch notes in the link above for all the fixed bugs, and changes. Unfortunately, these patch notes once again don't make mention of performance improvements within Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet - the latest main Pokémon entries on the Switch still suffer from some apparent frame drops and other performance-related annoyances which should still be addressed.
