Today, EA has announced its Update 2.0 for EA SPORTS PGA TOUR which addresses a bit of community feedback and adds on to the experience. Highlighting this update is the addition of the three-click swing. This will make the game more approachable for casual players rather than relying on the analog swing (which is still in the game). Presentation settings have been addressed with the addition of Fast Play, which allows users to skip cut scenes, the ability to add or remove the putt meter, and the ability to turn off button hints. Improvements have also been made to the Green grid on holes that will improve visibility. Increased accuracy has also been added to the green grid beads, which lets players know the flow of the green.
A Shot Types screen has been added in the putt menu to better describe what each one does. Players can also expect camera fixes, a resized 1:1 cup, online improvements and newly added store content. This update does not include the 60 FPS option, which is due to come soon. You can read the full list of patch notes here.
