EA has announced upcoming updates to address community concerns for its recently released EA SPORTS PGA TOUR. There are currently fixes coming for issues with tournament awards, game crashes, compatibility and more. Some of these will overhaul how the game plays and also increase replayability. This starts with the 3-click swing mechanic as the developers focused more on realism with the analog sticks, but the game will also be receiving the 3-click mechanic later this month. Putting Grids will also see an update as reports have surfaced that the grid bead lines for reading the green are breaking in the opposite direction. A visual update will come ensuring the grid fades away after you hit the putt. Camera angle and zoom issues will receive an improvement as there has been a bit of difficulty in specific situations.
The team is also exploring ways to expand on the Career Mode as it looks to include one-round tournaments to speed along the process. This was previously included but was eventually removed due to commentary issues and other potential bugs. Fast Play is being implemented to bypass certain cut scenes. The team will also bring the 60 FPS mode to the game at some point soon. You can read the full list of changes on the blog post here and check out our review of EA SPORTS PGA TOUR here.
