Razer has announced a firmware update to its Viper Mini Signature Edition Gaming Mouse that brings true 8000 Hz polling rate to the mouse. This is measured at 0.125 ms polling intervals and the update is available for download on April 24.

This polling rate increase means this mouse will offer the lowest input latency for a wireless mouse on the market. The polling rate selection range from 125 Hz to 8000 Hz after the update as this helps players adjust input based on what fits specific uses best.
