Spider of Lanka DLC Now Available For The Case of the Golden Idol - Hardcore Gamer
The Case of the Golden Idol was one of last year’s most acclaimed adventure games (heck, one of the year’s most acclaimed games in general), with its unique murder mysteries making for some incredible puzzle-solving experiences. About the only real complaint that some had about the game is that is was all over in a few hours. But now that problem is remedied a bit with developer Color Gray Games’ first DLC expansion for the game, The Spider of Lanka, which is now available.
The new expansion adds three more cases to the game, all set in the titular kingdom of Lanka. As seen in the trailer below, these cases act as a bit of a prequel to the core story, set one year prior to the initial case and providing a deeper look as to what kicked off the game’s events, presenting players with a web of political intrigue. The Spider of Lanka DLC is available now for The Case of the Golden Idol, which itself is twenty percent off until May 11 to celebrate, so this is the best time to pick it up if you haven’t already.
