Once they choose to start a New Game, a special prompt for the extreme difficulty may appear on the screen, allowing players to choose if they want to try it out or not. According to the notes provided by Capcom, the Mad Chainsaw Mode is exclusive to the demo and will not be in the final, story-changing version of 's remake.
The first immediate difference in the secret hard mode present in 's remake demo is the aforementioned randomness.
