’s new Rufus’s Fury Legendary Auto Rifle is one of the best ones in the game and has been changing the meta for various Guardian builds. The -exclusive weapon is one of the many new additions to Bungie’s online shooter that came along with the expansion. The weapon boasts an impressive 720 RPM (rounds per minute) and very well-distributed stats.
All of its characteristics together make it a fantastic weapon to use in PvE and PvP activities alike. Along with its firing cadence, it has a good amount of impact and is incredibly stable. Even players with the already great Gnawing Hunger Auto Rifle in will likely get outgunned by Rufus’s Fury, should they encounter an opponent using one in the Crucible, for example.

As mentioned, Rufus’s Fury Auto Rifle is exclusive to the raid. As such, players first have to own the expansion and then gather five more allies to face Nezarec and his Black Fleet minions. Additionally, the Legendary weapon does not have a guaranteed drop rate but is part of a larger loot pool, which includes other weapons. Therefore, during the raid in , Guardians will have two opportunities of grabbing it.
According to , ’s Rufus’s Fury Auto Rifle can drop from the third and the final encounters in . For further reference, these are the fights against Zo’aurc, Explicator of Planets, and Nezarec, Final God of Pain, respectively. It is important to reiterate that the weapon’s drop is not guaranteed, and, as such, multiple runs of the raid or at least the specific encounters may be necessary before it is obtained. However, once players get five copies of the weapon with Deepsight and extract the patterns, they can craft (shape) it at The Enclave.
