Due to some significant sign-on issues for many Destiny 2 players, Bungie has made an announcement stating that it will be disabling integration features until the source of the problem can be fixed. With a new raid getting ready to launch at the end of this week in Destiny 2, the timing of this issue is less than ideal.
Through the years, Destiny 2 has maintained its status as one of the most popular online multiplayer games available. With a passionate fan base and new players joining in on the action every day, the game has managed to still be many gamers' go-to first-person shooter despite being released nearly six years ago. However, the new Lightfall expansion that was recently released has had a little bit of a rocky start with some even claiming that the Destiny 2 expansion falls flat compared to other installments in the game due to its confusing narrative. Unfortunately, the game is experiencing some technical difficulties as well, and it's happening just a few short days away from a new raid.

In a post shared by the official Bungie Help Twitter account, a statement was made to followers addressing sign-on issues that some players have been experiencing when trying to play the game. Due to the issue, the developer has decided to disable Destiny 2 integration features until the root of the problem can be found and dealt with. Several replies to Bungie's tweet were concerned how this sign-on issue would affect the upcoming Root of Nightmares raid, the first major event for the Lightfall expansion that's set to launch this Friday.
