A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about a new character who is expected to join the roster in the upcoming months. The game keeps expanding its list of playable characters every couple of weeks with the Pyro user Dehya being the most recent addition in the ongoing update 3.5.
The second part of Genshin Impact version 3.5 will also add another character, the Cryo user Mika, who will appear alongside the two five-star characters, Shenhe and Ayaka. Even though Mika has not even arrived yet, multiple leaks have already given more information about a new character who will apparently be released during update 3.7.
Genshin Impact Rework Concept Could Fix the Geo Element
Over the last couple of weeks, numerous rumors have been hinting at a new Geo character named Momoka who was previously rumored to have a five-star rarity. However, new information from credible leakers like Team China has revealed that she's actually called Kirara and Momoka was just a name mentioned in the leaked files. Players have found a way to confirm the new name by using Wanderer's rename mechanic. At the end of one of Sumeru's Archon Quests, players have the option to give a nickname to Wanderer and HoYoverse confirmed that he cannot be named by any pre-existing or future character. While the quest accepted Momoka as a nickname, it actually refused the name Kirara which led many players to believe that this will be her final name.
Recent leaks have already revealed the new character's model which includes a lot of cat-like features. However, her final version could be a bit different since the model art was apparently very old.
