Thankfully, Obsidian responded to the backlash, saying they understand players’ frustration and promising to get a patch out soon.
Well, that update has arrived, with Obsidian promising it will address performance issues, and fix various visual bugs and glitches. You can get the full rundown of everything included in The Outer Worlds: Spacer Choice Edition ver. 1.1, below.

Hopefully, this update brings The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition in line with what it should have been in the first place. That said, Obsidian is also promising future patches for the game.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition can be played on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Patch 1.1 should be rolling out to most players now, although it may take a few extra days to arrive for Xbox Series X/S owners and those playing via the Microsoft Store launcher.
