We're only a handful of days away from the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake and you can feel the excitement in the air. Many of us are spending our time counting down the hours to release, but one Resident Evil 4 fan has been a little bit more productive, using their time to completely recreate the original game's intro entirely out of Lego.
First shared to the Resident Evil subreddit by creator u/CarAleatorio, the video imagines what Resident Evil 4's intro would look like were it to be remade like the Lego movie. The scene starts with a Lego Leon Kennedy entering the first cabin you come across in the game, before being unexpectedly attacked by a Ganado with an axe.

The video then adeptly transtions to combat, as Leon shoots the feet out from under the Lego Ganado and finishes him off with a roundhouse kick. He then leaps out of the window to be attacked by more Ganados, quickly dispatching each one with relative ease. It's a very impressive feat of animation when you consider this has been done by one person, especially when you notice all the little details. For example, you get to see the head pop off of one Ganado, while another quickly darts to the side to try and avoid being shot - both little things that can happen in the game itself.
You can also see careful consideration has been taken to ensure these characters actually look like Lego figures, even going so far as to include fingerprints and light scratches on the figures to make them look a little worn. As for how u/CarAleatorio actually made this video, they explain that it's a 3D animation they made to look like stop-motion. If you want to see more of their work, you can check out
