Ys X: Nordics Release Date Set in Trailer for Action RPG
NIS America announced the on Friday, confirming when the next entry in the iconic Ys series would make its way out.
The Ys X: Nordics release date is set for October 25, 2024, when the game will arrive on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The release date also came alongside a new trailer for the game.
In a brand new trailer for the upcoming action role-playing game, the game’s fast-paced combat, story, and naval exploration is shown off a bit, including a better look at the two heroes starring in the story, young adventurer Adol and Norman pirate Karja, as they work together to try and save the Obelia Gulf.

NIS America also announced that a limited edition of the game is now available for preorder through the NIS America Online Store. Retailing for $104.99, the limited edition of the game includes a copy of the game, soundtrack, mini art book, sling bag, pin, postcards, and more.

As they search for a way to undo the mystical ties that bind them, they soon find themselves caught up in a conflict between two factions: the seafaring warriors known as the Normans and the enigmatic and seemingly immortal Griegr,” reads the game’s description. “In order to save the people of Obelia Gulf, Adol and Karja must navigate the depths of their unexpected bond and the power that it grants them.”
