Developer Torn Banner Studios has announced that after three years of free updates for Chivalry 2, they now consider it feature-complete and will move on to other exciting multiplayer projects. The game will continue to be maintained, and matchmaking services will remain online.
It's been quite a good run for Torn Banner Studios. Chivalry 2 really is one of the most visceral and unique multiplayer games players can dive into on PlayStation, and there has never been a better time. In May, the developer released its Regicide update, which added (amongst other things like weapons, maps, and game modes) a climactic end to the narrative of the warring in-game factions.
Torn Banner is working on other projects set in the Chivalry universe, as well as dabbling in the realm of cooperative horror, with No More Room in Hell 2 now in Early Access on Steam.

As someone who played this from launch day it is not complete.
@Deityjester What is missing?
@Deityjester As someone who's been playing since launch day — what are you talking about? The game has more than enough content for its $40. Chiv 2 is a great game and I'm not disappointed at all with it. It was worth it on launch day and they've done great support for it. Game's don't need to be supported for a decade after release, I'm happy to play what we have and to wait for Chiv 3 now.
