Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 Continues the Luofu Journey, Adds New Characters, and the Wardance Ceremony

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5, “Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue” is coming on September 10th, with new events,new playable characters, further journeys on the Xianzhou Luofu, andintroduces the Wardance ceremony.

The update was previewed by HoYoverse at Gamescom, where they highlighted all of their current hit titles. A prison break gets the attention of the Cloud Knights, who are working to initiate rescues and General Feixiao  prepares to lead her troops to capture the escaped criminals and secure the Luofu. Shackling Prison, even as others  try to capture the escaped criminals, also has some secrets that the new story content will reveal.

General Feixiao herself is one of the new recruitable characters, a 5-star martial arts master also known as “The Vanquishing General”. Another 5-star character, Lingsha, Is A Healer and straddle strategist, who can heal allies  and remove debuffs, while also applying debuffs on enemies. She can summon and use her pet incense, Fuyuan, to assist in combat. Lingsha can extend Fuyuan’s presence via skills. Moze debuts as a playable character, a 4-star stealthy, strategic, fighter who can mark a single enemy as Prey and set up allies to attack while he deals extra damage. 

When Feixiao attacks, she generates Flying Aureus and it also fuels her Ultimate.  Version 2.5 will introduce a new trial, Echo of War: Inner Beast’s Battlefield, where you must face the shadow of General Feixiao and an apparition of Flying Aureus Ecliptic Inner Beast. 

The Luminary Wardance is set to debut in the update, and if you participate in the events you can earn yourself a new pet, the Tuskpir. The Wardance will see the return of some familiar characters too. Version 2.5 will also feature a special Warp event in the first half, which also sees some characters, like Robin, Black Swan, and Kafka, return.
