In retro news, I'm celebrating the 17th birthday of DS darling Sonic Rush Adventure. As a fan of the blue dude with the 'tude, I fondly remember SRA as a beacon of light and hope in dark times; it released in the wake of the brand-wounding 2006 reboot of Sonic the Hedgehog (IGN: 4.8). All in all, just a slick platformer with excellent 2D/3D element blendings across two-screen tall level designs. Annnd by reminiscing, I've just incepted myself into a weekend replay where I'll re-find all 7 Chaos and 7 Sol Emeralds to unlock Super Sonic and Burning Blaze, respectively.
