is preparing for Halloween a month early with a new merch drop from The Pokémon Center, and it's just as spooky-cute as you were hoping for. s Halloween range extends beyond the much-loved spooky Trick or Trade trading cards, with costumed plushies and more.
The Pokémon Center's first new Halloween items for sale in 2024 include four keychains and two plushies. The new Poké plush keychains depict Pikachu, Rowlet, Froakie, and Fuecoco, all dressed up for Halloween with cute scared expressions on their faces. The two plushies are larger, non-keychain versions of the Pikachu and Fuecoco. The new items are joining the spooky Pokéween collection, and are available to ship immediately on purchase.
The Pikachu keychain and plushie are wearing a tiny black witch's hat, while Fuecoco's keychain and plushie has the Gen 9 fire starter Pokémon sitting inside a Jack-O-Lantern. Froakie and Rowlet only have keychain versions (so far), with Froakie in a witch hat, and Rowlet has a top hat.
All the keychains come with a sturdy clip, and are about 2.8 x 3.4 x 4.3 inches. The plushies are a slightly larger 3.5 x 4.9 x 8.7 inches. Keychains cost $15.99 USD each, and the plushies are $29.99. Older Halloween collections are also available for purchase.
This year's merch drop is actually coming quite a bit later than last year's. The 2023 Halloween plush and keychain collection was announced in August 2023 and had a more orange-themed collection of Pokémon, including the three Gen 9 starters, Mimikyu, Greavard, Gengar, and a very festive Pikachu.
Fans of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Paradox variants will want to check out this new merchandise that celebrates the displaced pocket monsters.
Like last year, though, players can expect to see at least one of the new Halloween outfits in the game. This year's Halloween event is expected to start a week before Halloween, so fans should be on the lookout for these cute spooky 'mons to potentially appear in the game.
