Sea of Thieves continues to sail from strength to strength, and now the chaotic booty simulator is charting a course towards a whole new season of piratical content. Season 13 will allow players to tackle the tyrannical Flameheart, seizing his skeleton-crewed vessel in a climactic encounter, and it's live now.
Flameheart's flagship, The Burning Blade, will sail the seas, serving as a roving world event for players to contend with. The most powerful ship to sail these well-sailed waters, it boasts ten cannons as well as a brutal prow-mounted flame weapon. Overcome Flameheart, and you can choose to serve the cursed corsair, piloting The Burning Blade about, ably assisted by a crew of tireless Obsidian Skeletons. You can see some of the other additions, including a boatload of cosmetic pirate swag, coming to Season 13 in the informative trailer below.
