- Players interested in the most immersive experience possible can turn off the minimap, damage numbers, health bars, indicators, and more

- Gifts for companions are returning and will be on display in their rooms
- Some of the larger areas offering exploration opportunities include The Crossroads, Arlathan Forest, and The Hossberg Wetlands
- Every companion has their own story arc and challenges to go through
- Companions may occasionally appear in the world even if they're not in your party
- Certain quests may expire depending on the progression of the main story and player choices, but the player will be warned in advance
- There is no mechanic behind companions getting together, as BioWare wanted to avoid making it feel mechanical.
