Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’s recent extended Tokyo Game Show presentation brought with it a host of new information, revealing new gameplay footage, a wonderfully bizarre photo mode, and even an in-game dancing event. To go along with that, developer Kojima Productions has also revealed details on the game’s Japanese voice cast.
Several actors are going to reprise their roles from the first game, with Kenjiro Tsuda playing protagonist Sam Porter Bridges, Nana Mizuki voicing Fragile, and Satoshi Mikami voicing Higgs (played by Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, and Troy Baker in the English version).
They will be joined by new additions to the cast in Tomokazu Sugita, who plays Dollman (played by Jonathan Roumie in English, and based on the likeness of Fatih Akin); Mitsuru Miyamoto, who will vice Tarman (played by Marty Rohine in English, and based on the likeness of George Miller); and Shion Wakayama as Tomorrow (played by Elle Fanning in English).
Of course, Death Stranding 2’s cast is going to have many more characters, as director Hideo Kojima has stressed in the past, so we can probably expect more cast announcements in the coming weeks and months.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is coming in 2025 for PS5. A specific release date won’t be announced before next year.
