Fraught survival sim, Green Hell, is getting a native PS5 port with a free upgrade offered for players that already own the PS4 version of the game, which is the good news. The bad is that the PS4 version will no longer be supported with future updates, but we suppose that the world must invariably continue its forward march.
Developer Creepy Jar released a trailer showcasing the enhancements PS5 players can look forward to when the update goes live next month on 14th August. Apparently, previous-gen consoles are no longer able to deliver the level of quality Creepy Jar wants to make available to players, and as such, cross-play as well as save transfers between the platforms will not be possible. Green Hell has quietly been surviving since releasing in 2019, amassing an impressive six million players since it was left to fend for itself in the wild.
