Promised Consort Radahn is typically one of the harder fights in , but some players discovered a way to make his fight absurdly easy. Using simple exploits, players weren’t just able to quickly finish off Radahn, but they were doing so without even taking any damage. Using this exploit may have been an anticlimactic way to finish out, but it was undeniably silly after slogging through the DLC’s many difficult bosses.
Exploits like this can be a nice way to get back to playing the rest of a game if one is stuck on a particular boss fight. However, it also can be far less rewarding than buckling down and grinding it out. It’s hard to imagine any player who gets to Radahn in the first place isn’t up for a challenge, but using this exploit could be a nice way for a completionist to save themselves some frustration.
Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree makes players work hard for its ending, yet does very little to reward that hard work other than a big tease.
As demonstrated by YouTuber Victoire Bowie, instead of facing Radhan head-on, players could simply wait for him to turn around before sneaking off behind the large rock formation in the arena. Once there, they could throw some poison pots at him before disguising themselves with the Mimic’s Veil. The Mimic's Veil is located in Stormeveil Castle, and allows players to disguise themselves as nearby objects. After disguising themselves as a statue, all players had to do was wait and Radahn would die.
It doesn’t seem like the poison pots specifically were necessary to get Radahn to die, instead they were used to pull his aggro back toward the boss arena. They clearly stop having an effect on his health and when he dies, it happens far too quickly. If anything, it almost seems like Radahn simply glitched through the floor of the area, falling to his death.
Players seemed somewhat split online over this method of defeating Radahn. Some players applauded the creativity of discovering this method, while others decried it
